Regardless of whether you are a new manager or a seasoned professionel, you probably also discover that it is suddenly not about you any longer. About only your results. But it is about how you are able to create results through your employees. Across their different ages and backgrounds.

Right now, we have a completely unique situation with 5 generations in the labor market And the 6th is coming in. It creates completely new challenges, which I have chosen to specialize in. You cannot expect the same response from 2 completely different generations, and you need to be able to navigate that.

This applies both if you are the younger boss with older employees and if you are the seasoned boss with several generations in your team. When you want to avoid quiet quitting and grueling conflicts in the team, the answer often lies in recognizing and understanding the differences of each generation.
