GENERATIONAL MANAGEMENT & COLLABORATION ACROSS
Do you have colleagues, employees or managers of different ages? Do you find they have different needs for feedback, recognition, development opportunities, flexibility and management?
For the first time in history, we have six generations in society. to five of them are active in the labor market. As managers, employees, volunteers, board members or owners.
In 2023, the first Generation Alphas will turn 13 years and make their entry to the labor market. There are twice as many people at 75-years old who work than 10 years ago .
The shortage of labor these years is massive and across all industries and educational level. It requires new thinking when workplaces are fighting for sufficient skills and the ability to recruit and retain good and stable employees.
The generations have in many ways different references and preferences when it comes to the way they approach work. This creates challenges for management, who must lead across generational differences. It also takes turns on cross-generational cooperation when different values are brought into play and the understanding and knowledge of the other age groups falls short.
In my lectures, workshops and courses, I review the characteristics, references and preferences of the generations, as well as all the elements that are part of generational management. In collaboration with you/you, I adapt my posts to your/your challenges and come up with suggestions for solutions and constructive initiatives and opportunities.
“Diversity, inclusion and generations: it all goes hand in hand in today’s workplace. ”
“I can highly recommend sparring with Betina about building bridges and creating understanding between generations. Betina also manages to include inclusion and diversity in the generational debate. Over a number of years, Nine has become a larger company, and we currently have four generations in our consultancy business.
Almost a year ago, we had a course with Betina because we wanted to create greater understanding among all colleagues and between generations.
Betina went with us to the kickoff and ran an entire professional day, where we fulfilled our wish for generational insight and understanding among all colleagues with smiles, humor and a twinkle in the eye.
I can highly recommend using Betina as an inspiration and sparring partner. This is also a great call to dedicate a professional day to letting Betina take you through all the facets of what it really means to be several generations in the same workplace.”

The ingredients for achieving a strong work culture are, among other things, psychological security, motivation, good and transparent communication, the right skills and framework for carrying out the job and of course good management.
A good work culture is an important competitive parameter, both for employees and customers or the people the workplace has to serve. But how do we establish a good work culture? Or does it strengthen the good work culture in a world that changes all the time?
In collaboration with you/you, I plan lectures, workshops or courses on how you can strengthen your work culture and how both management and employees must take joint responsibility for a good work culture.
“RAISED OUR LEVEL AND DEVELOPED OUR EMPLOYEES “
“We at Godt Smil have enjoyed Betina in relation to the theory behind communication. We talk to each other every day and use communication in our work, but Betina’s skills within the psychology in communication, raised our level and developed our employees in a good and constructive way.
The implementation was straight forward and the employees was not in doubt about what the goal was and how they should get there!
