My involvement in generational management has led to a great interest in how seniors in the workplace thrive. Those who today belong to Generation X and the Baby Boomers have grown in numbers, due to the fact, that we have gained 30 year more to live in, the last 100 years.

More people are working beyond the retirement age, and at the same time countless studies and reports show that some employees who have passed the age are exposed to age bias and are excluded from the recruitment process or are first in the queue when they have to be fired.

Lis Petersson and I have both had our way in the Danish business world – in real life and where employees and managers find their way together between facts, myths and prejudices about aging and about how the different generations best work together. We are active in debates on various online platforms and not least through our consultancy assignments, lectures and articles.
